What is the Color Guard?

The Color Guard is the section of the marching band that adds additional visual aspects to the overall production through the use of flags, sabres, rifles, and dance. The synchronized work presented by the color guard during the halftime show helps to add depth, color, and imagery to the music played by the band!

Interested in auditioning?

There is no experience required to audition! Anyone who is going to be a 9th-12th grade student at Fairhope High School is welcome to audition for the Fairhope Band Color Guard.

Winter Guard

The Winter Guard is an extension of the Color Guard. They are instructed by Phillip Davis and Stevie Miller. Membership in the Winter Guard is by audition only. The auditions are held after marching band has concluded. This group has been performing in the Gulf Coast Color Guard and Percussion Circuit for a number of years now. They have enjoyed immense success by placing first in many events, including winning their division in the Regional Championships in April, 2018, which was held at the University of South Alabama Mitchell Center.
