Phillip Davis has been the color guard director with Fairhope High School Band for more than 20 years. He also has taught, performed, competed and judged various forms of pageantry for over 20 years. Color guards, drum majors, dance lines, majorettes, cheerleading, show choirs and pageants are just a few of the activities he has been involved in. He marched Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps back in the late 80’s. Phillip is also a local graphic/web designer and is currently employed with Dogwood Productions in Mobile.
Phillip is married and has two children. His interests include art, design, sports, running, various mediums of music and dance.

DJ White is the percussion director and has worked with the Fairhope High School drum line for over 5 years. He is also an alumni of the drum line program as a performing member and captain of the line.
DJ received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Alabama and currently works for a local investigative firm.
Obviously he enjoys “drumming” and he gives private lessons in his spare time to elementary, middle and high school students interested in learning more about percussion. He has performed with various groups throughout the area.
DJ enjoys music, sports including fitness and running.
Stevie Miller has a wealth of performing experience for color guard. She has been active in marching band color guard as well as winter guard for several years. She is currently serving her fifth year as the assistant color guard director for Fairhope High School band.
She has performed with several winter guard programs as well, groups including Northwest Florida Independent, Xcelsior Independent and Jay Independent winter guards.
Stevie has a passion for developing the skills of young performers and enjoys witnessing the growth and development through detailed instruction and helpful critique to enhance the performance of the individual performer and the ensemble performance.
Stevie is currently studying to complete her Business degree.

Stephen Thompson graduated from Fairhope High School in 2009. He was a member of the Fairhope Band for his four years of high school as a member of the percussion section.
After high school he attended Auburn University, and he performed with the Auburn University Marching Band from 2011-2013 on the bass line. While at Auburn, he earned his undergraduate degree in business administration with a concentration in finance with a minor in sustainability. He continued his education by earning his MBA as well as a MSBA in Finance.
He lives and works in Fairhope, Alabama, and teaches percussion at Fairhope High School.
